Made in Italy
Born in Toronto, Canada to German and Greek parents, Nicolas Andreas Taralis is known for his exceptional tailoring, romantic layering, and innovative cutting and processing techniques. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, he studied under Helmut Lang at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. From 1999 to 2003, he worked as an assistant designer to Hedi Slimane at Dior Homme. Taralis launched his namesake womenswear line in 2003 and debuted in Paris with his A/W 06 collection in 2006. That same year, he became the artistic director for Cerruti and relaunched his own label in 2008. NICOLAS ANDREAS TARALIS presents a unique dramatic vision with a refined avant-garde style. Currently, he is working on reimagining menswear with a focus on black and white silhouettes, unfinished stitching, and dropped inseams.
