About DRIEW
DRIEW started with a feeling — that clothing could be more than just trend or status. It could be memory, intention, expression. A language for those who speak quietly but dress loud.
I grew up in Hanoi, Vietnam, where local fashion never really felt like me. I was surrounded by styles that didn’t quite resonate — but I found inspiration in small things: my mom, who traveled the world for work, would bring back pieces from brands like Y-3, Adidas NEO, American Eagle, and Hollister. They were small windows into a world I hadn’t yet stepped into, but felt deeply drawn to.
In high school, sneakers were my first love. Surrounded by friends who were obsessed with basketball, I was introduced to Jordans, exclusive Nike releases, and the energy of streetwear culture. It was the first time I saw fashion as personal — as something you chased, collected, and lived in.
When I moved to Toronto, Canada for school, everything changed. I discovered Grailed, and with it, the world of designer archive fashion. I started collecting obsessively — pieces from UNDERCOVER, Number (N)ine, Kapital, and COMME des GARÇONS — each garment carrying its own story, era, and mood. What started as a personal archive quickly snowballed into something more.
Today, DRIEW is a curated space — both online and physical — dedicated to rare Japanese designer archive, Y2K streetwear, and the subcultures that shaped us. We’re based in Downtown Toronto at 210 Spadina Ave, where we offer Buy/Sell/Trade, styling, and rentals for creatives, collectors, and those who dress with purpose.
This isn’t just a shop. It’s a reflection of how far we’ve come — and how deeply we care about what we wear, why we wear it, and who we become when we do.
Thanks for being here. Sincerely..
