 Yohan Serfaty was born in Casablanca in 1966, a French designer known for his dark, minimalist menswear. After shifting from political science to fashion, he launched his eponymous label and co-founded Y/Project in 2010. His designs emphasized sharp tailoring, avant-garde silhouettes, and luxurious fabrics. His final collection—Autumn/Winter 2013—showcased structured leather pieces and monochrome palettes. Serfaty passed away in April 2013 after battling cancer. Glenn Martens, his assistant, took over Y/Project and evolved the brand’s aesthetic.
