  Yasuyuki Ishii, born in 1962, is a distinguished Japanese fashion designer and object artist. He began his career in the 1980s as an object artist, transforming found materials into artistic expressions. His background in a punk band influenced his affinity for decaying textures, leather, and metal hardware, elements that permeate his fashion designs.
