Yohji Yamamoto, the legendary 80-year-old Japanese fashion designer renowned for his avant-garde style. Launched his label “Y’s” in 1972, his designs are known for their avant-garde silhouettes, predominantly in black, featuring intricate drapery and varying textures. One of Yohji Yamamoto’s subsidiary brand is “Y’s Red Label”, designed by Michiko Suziki , whom used to be a pattern-maker for Yohji’s main womenswear collection. In 2007, Y’s Red Label came together for a collaboration with YOSHiKOCREATiON; the luxury jewelry label run by Yoshiko Kajitani, they have created variety of garments and accessories that features exquisite ‘fleur-de-lis’ silverware detailing, adding a luxurious and refined element to Yohji’s well-known intricate designs.
