About the Brand
About the Brand
The Viridi-Anne was founded in 2001 by Tomoaki Okaniwa, having their based in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, mirrors the designer’s transition from fine arts to fashion, starting with his graduation from Tokyo Zoukei University and the establishment of Caterpillar Produit in 1987. Originally focusing on women’s wear, Okaniwa’s desire for personal expression was ignited by an underground runway show in Tokyo, leading to the creation of The Viridi-Anne. Characterized by a dark color palette and contemporary style, the brand represents subtle intricacy.
