 Semantic Design is a Japanese fashion label founded in the early 2000’s, specializes in providing alternative Japanese menswear option with a twist of Punk/Rock & Y2K streetwear aesthetic. Their initial designs were elevated version of basic silhouettes; like : flare/bootcut denim, multi-zip leather jackets, waxed shirts, distressed heel bots, and etc, evoking a sense of rebellion but still functional and practical. Similar to other underground Japanese streetwear brand time at the time, Semantic Design has went through different major transitions due to ownership hence has been creating products with different aesthetic to serve their current targeted demographic, which made pieces from their earlier stages even more desirable.
