The name RipVanWinkle originates from a tale by American author Washington Irving. Established in 1997 by Naoki Shiratani and Masao Ono, the Japanese fashion label seamlessly merges classic and modern elements, offering a wardrobe tailored for urbanites who appreciate both tradition and innovation. This pants is from the label’s early 2000’s period, crafted from steer / cattle hide leather , which is a bovine leather made from the hide of male cows, known as steers, the leather usually possesses the most consistent hide and were treated to achieve an unique cracking effect. The jacket was constructed from a pre-washed soft cotton canvas material, feature a hook as closure system, perfect for everyday wear.
