Rick Owens x SWAMPGOD 1-of-3 Reconstructed UpCycle Flare Cut Denim

Beginning his eponymous brand at 32, Rick Owens spent eight years tirelessly shaping it into a paradigm for aspiring designers, defying conventional paths to success. His uncompromising integrity led to one of the last significant independent fashion brands. Owens’ signature style, marked by high-quality fabrics and dark, minimal aesthetics, reshaped clothing silhouettes, offering a fresh perspective on athletic leisure. SWAMPGOD, initiated in 2020 by Venice-based graffiti artist Arturo Boem during lockdown, caught Rick Owens’ attention. Their collaboration involved upcycling unsold items from Owens’ past collections, resulting in 19 capsule collections and over 1000 unique pieces. The showcased flare denim is a reconstructive masterpiece as a result of the collaboration, with a limited run of only 3 pair of unique pants with different sizes ever made, the particular pair was bought at LA in early 2023. Comes in at the only one in size 31, they featured an immense amount of rework at the hem, multiple patches of numerous version of denim finishing and an astonishing 42 inches inseam.
