Rick Owens DRKSHDW SS22 “FOGACHINE” 16oz Japanese Selvedge ‘Pusher’ Wide Leg Denim

  Rick Owens’ Spring/Summer 2022 collection, titled “FOGACHINE,” marked the designer’s return to Paris at the Palais de Tokyo after previous shows in Venice during the pandemic. The collection embraced hedonism through a blend of glamour and responsibility, featuring baggy flares over platforms, eco-cotton disco bodysuits under transparent shirts, and tailored monster-shouldered blazers and coats.  This particular DRKSHDW Pusher Pants reinterpret workwear through a brutalist lens; belong in a series of 16oz Japanese denims product in black, natural, and orange selvedge, custom woven by Yamaashi Orimono on vintage Sakamoto shuttle looms. They were cut from 16oz Japanese selvedge denim, these pants possess an astounding weight, feature a flared silhouette with full-length silver snap closures running down each leg, offering both styling versatility and dramatic edge.
