Before Mihara Yasuhiro became the now renowned Japanese fashion designer, he was a fashion alumni Tama Art University in Tokyo, which is also home to the esteemed Issey Miyake. Known for his meticulously crafted collections consistently spanning for nearly two decades, Mihara Yasuhiro’s journey began with a passion for footwear, nurtured through part-time work and exploration during a foreign exchange trip. Upon returning, he founded his own brand in 1997, concentrating on footwear throughout the late 1990s. Initially, his label thrived through independently operated boutiques like SOSU MIHARA YASUHIRO. Yasuhiro’s partnership with PUMA further solidified his reputation.
