Lost & Found Ria Dunn was established in Tuscany in 2007 by Canadian designer Ria Dunn and her partner, Alessandro Esteri. Born in Vancouver, Ria grew up amid contrasting environments, where pastoral landscapes and farms coexisted with the hustle and bustle of major cities. She pursued studies in fine arts, interior design, and photography, ultimately discovering that fashion was the visual language that resonated with her the most. After completing her education and gaining experience in Toronto, Montreal, and the United States, Ria Dunn realized she was not willing to conform to the fast-paced demands of the contemporary fashion industry or tolerate its lack of genuine creativity. This led her to create her own brand, founded on entirely different principles.
