About the Brand

Founded in 1995 by Yuichi Korada, Lad Musician were created to carries out the concept of fusion between music and clothing, sounds and body, taking all kinds of invisible inspiration from sound and transitions it to clothing. In his own words, Yuichi Korada wanted every person wearing Lad Musician’s clothes to be the embodiment of music. The brand’s creative vision were clear, constantly inspired by the metaphysics of music and sound on a personal level to Yuichi. In his earlier work for Lad Musician, Yuichi was obsessed with Japanese glam-rock aesthetics in Japan during the early 1990’s, therefore the brand were producing classic rock stars look with tight-fitting jeans and tops that seems only tall and skinny boys can fit. Nowadays, the brand is known for making wearable high-end attire with sharply tailored silhouettes, classic cuts knitwear and pants, casually playing with layering and an undeniable European avant-garde touch that still somehow evoke a “rocker” sensibility.
