L.G.B. (Le Grand Bleu) is a Japanese fashion label founded in 1999 by Nabuhiko Satoh in Tokyo, Japan. The brand is known for its alternative rockstar aesthetic, focusing primarily on handmade denim pieces. Part of the Maniac Corporation, the Le Grand Bleu brand follows a similar aesthetic as its sister label IfSixWasNine and rose to prominence in Harajuku, Tokyo, in the late 1990s. With select stockists, Le Grand Bleu clothing is hard to find outside of Japan, making it a cult brand loved by those who know it. This particular blazer feature an asymmetrical cut with the iconic ‘cross’ motif darts at the back, intentional distressing details throughout hem and on leather collar - embodied the label’s avant-garde rockstar aesthetic perfectly.
