Naoki Takizawa initially came aboard as a designer for Issey Miyake subsidiary’s label, Plantation, the worked his way up to be the Chief Designer/Creative Director of Issey Miyake men’s and women’s by 1999. His first debut collection for Issey Miyake Autumn/Winter 2000 explored the realm of technical and utilitarian wear with wearability considered, nowadays in t has grown to become some of his most coveted work.
