  Issey Miyake was a visionary Japanese designer celebrated for his fusion of technology, art, and fashion. Born in Hiroshima in 1938, he survived the atomic bombing and later studied graphic design in Tokyo before training in Paris under Guy Laroche and Hubert de Givenchy. In 1970, he founded Miyake Design Studio, pioneering innovations like heat-set pleats in his Pleats Please line and the seamless A-POC concept. Miyake's designs emphasized freedom of movement and redefined modern clothing. He passed away in 2022 at age 84
