Givenchy, a French luxury fashion house, was founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy. Known for its sophisticated and elegant designs, Givenchy has become a symbol of timeless style and luxury. The brand’s Autumn/Winter 2011 menswear is collection, under the creative direction of Riccardo Tisci, was a standout season. The collection showcased intricate lacework, the iconic “Rottweiler” artwork series, and edgy silhouettes, resulting in a collection that featured a mix of romanticism and gothic elements. All of which became signature elements of Tisci’s tenure at Givenchy, testament to its ability to evolve while staying true to its rich heritage. The showcase coat was a staple design that was released during the same season. Crafted from a soft moleskin cotton material that went through a garment dyed treatment to achieve it’s dark green colour. Features luxurious viscose lining, wool trimming collar, a classic menswear ‘chester’ coat silhouette. Paired with Isamu Katayama “Backlash” scarf.
