Kris Van Assche, the Belgian fashion designer known for his clean, minimalist aesthetic and innovative tailoring, blending classic menswear with contemporary streetwear elements. Gaining recognition as the creative director of Dior Homme (replacing Hedi Slimane since 2007) and later Berluti, where he redefined luxury menswear with a modern, understated approach. In 2007, Kris Van Assche debuted his first collection at Dior Homme tilted: Autumn/Winter 2008, “Lumiere Du Nord, which translates to “Northern Light.” His first season attracted attention with classic and elegant elements, continuing Hedi Slimane’s success for Dior Homme and helping to continue their growth until’ his departure in 2018, after an amazing 10-year span of successful menswear collection.
