Her designs often blended elements of romance, poetry and avant-garde fashion, and she explored the delicate interplay between masculinity and femininity in clothing. Ann Demeulemeester’s impact on the fashion world endures, and her innovative designs continue to inspire the industry. Since she left her eponymous label in 2013, Sébastien Meunier did a stunning job of continuing Ann Demeulemeester’s legacy and not so much for the following successors that came after.
