Founded in the early 2000s by Japanese designer Hikaru Katano, the brand was born of Katano’s anthropological journeys into remote cultural regions, where he immersed himself in indigenous craft before translating those experiences into garments. Each item reflects a spiritual design ethos: not simply borrowing motifs, but deeply engaging with the practices and materials of local communities, then reconstructing them with a refined, artisanal hand.
