EKAM Archive Menswear Collection
Our EKAM archive collection offers truly rare pieces from a Japanese label founded in 2009 by designer Kanya Miki. Miki, who received formal education from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, studied under renowned designers John Galliano and Walter Van Beirendonck. The brand's name, derived from the Sanskrit word "Eka," meaning "the first" or "one," reflects Miki's vision of creating singular, transformative pieces. Characterized by slim, elegant silhouettes with gothic undertones, EKAM's ethos is most evident in its meticulously crafted leather jackets. These garments showcase Miki's expertise in tailoring and his ability to blend traditional craftsmanship with avant-garde design elements. Although the brand is now defunct, its legacy endures through these exceptional pieces, which continue to be sought after by collectors and fashion enthusiasts alike.
