Miki, who received formal education from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, studied under renowned designers John Galliano and Walter Van Beirendonck. The brand's name, derived from the Sanskrit word "Eka," meaning "the first" or "one," reflects Miki's vision of creating singular, transformative pieces. Characterized by slim, elegant silhouettes with gothic undertones, EKAM's ethos is most evident in its meticulously crafted leather jackets. These garments showcase Miki's expertise in tailoring and his ability to blend traditional craftsmanship with avant-garde design elements.
