Mike Amiri is an American fashion designer known for his eponymous label, Amiri. Established in 2014, Amiri quickly gained recognition for its rock 'n' roll-inspired aesthetic, blending luxury with streetwear elements. The brand's signature distressed denim, leather jackets, and graphic tees have become staples in the wardrobes of celebrities and fashion enthusiasts alike. This particular model, featuring a unique color and leather placement, was exclusively released for one season. It was purchased from Maxfield LA in 2016. To the best of my knowledge, Mike Amiri has not released another pair in this specific shade of grey and leather placement since then, although he did create a python skin version. The grey MX1's produced after 2016 were notably lighter, with less leather and fewer distressing details. This pair represents the pinnacle of Amiri's craftsmanship, as it was created during a time when he was personally involved in every aspect of production, rather than relying on mass-produced factory methods.
